Bike Size vs Plate Size
Personalized Bike Plates .com Size Comparison of custom plates vs bicycle sizes for children's bikes.
What size License Plate should I get for my child's bike?
We are often asked this question, and as our answer is mostly that it's a matter of personal preference, we thought we'd try to make it a little easier for you to visualize the different size plates we offer on different size children's bikes.
There are many different styles of bikes and we do not sell bicycles, only the plates so we asked some nice folks that have small children if we could borrow their bikes to show you the size.
Now with that being said, We have shown a Radio Flyer, a 12" bike, a 16"
bike and a 21" bike as well as a Motorized Kids Car. Please note that we are
not endorsing any of these bicycles nor are they endorsing us. Their bikes
and logos are their property and there is no affiliation what so ever.
Also, we'd like to mention that for the most part other than 3x6 being standard bicycle size, 4x7 being motorcycle/atv size and 6x12 being standard car size, Size is really a personal preference.
We suggest if you're unsure, an easy way to see which you'd prefer is to cut a piece of paper in the size(s) you're contemplating and hold it in the are where you plan on putting it *usually under the back of the bike seat*. You should get a good visual that way which will help you decide.
